And what I mean is that home buyers want information on your home when they want it and that usually means NOW! It doesn't matter if it is one o'clock in the afternoon or three o'clock in the morning. They want it now.
If you're selling a home as "For Sale By Owner" you don't necessarily want to have people calling you when you're at work or in the middle of dinner, especially if they are not a serious buyer for your home. Use a system like eVoice Receptionist to record a detailed message about your home that they can listen to and find out if it even meets their needs. If it does, they'll leave a message and you can follow up when it's convienent for you. If the details of the property don't appeal to the caller, they'll simply hang up and your time won't be wasted taking unqualified calls.
If your home is listed for sale, you should make sure your agent uses a similar system. After all, when someone calls the agents regular number on the sign and end up in the agents generic voice mail box because it's after 5pm or they're busy doing something else, the potential buyer won't leave a message because they don't want to get Sold Anything. But when they call and get the recorded information they're looking for that is specific to your home, it's more likely they will buy.
